All of our breeding stock are either O.F.A. certified or have a German "a" stamp or equivalent hip rating by another FCI-recognized nation. All of our breeding animals are DNA tested as well as tattooed, either by their country of origin or here at Alyeska. Thus we meet the standards now mandated by the FCI and SV to insure the accuracy and integrity of the breed record.
Alyeska puppies receive all necessary puppy inoculations, a full series of wormings and all other necessary health maintenance, including an all-natural RAW foods diet and supplementation, before they are ready to go to their new homes. We at Alyeska German Shepherds follow the vaccination schedule set out by Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Science, and other authoritative Veterinary bodies and Veterinary Journals/Studies. All puppies are handled and socialized extensively on a daily basis, from the day they are born until the time they go to their new homes. All Alyeska puppies are tattooed in their right ear for permanent identification. All pups come with a health warranty for hips, elbows and other genetic diseases.
